I have been teaching students Web design for six years at the university level with a focus on writing for the web while understanding the organization, content, and navigation of it’s ever changing experiential nature.
My Web classes cover information architecture, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, MySql, and how to write and publish on the WWW. I also use content management systems, including Blackboard, Moodle, and Wordpress, to create websites for classes and for businesses. I also use and teach social networking aspects of the web such as Facebook.
I work and teach with both Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux operating systems.
My software application experience includes; Microsoft Office, Filemaker Pro, The Adobe Creative Suite with web emphasis using Photoshop & Dreamweaver -also 3D design applications Bryce, Blender and Google Sketchup, Digital Storytelling, Sumopaint, Stop action animation and video editing using iMovie, Blogger, Word Press, Text Pattern, Moodle and CELTX screen writing program for writing and and storytelling excercises in the classroom. the GIMP and many other Open-Source applications.
